How far in advance do I need to order?

To best serve you, we ask you place your orders in advance.

We require:

One week for all custom orders and quantities over two dozen,

At least a month for large events.


Stock items in quantities of less than two dozen can usually be picked up at the bakery.

I need cookies now! Can I get any items right away?

Come see us!  We have a selection of grab-and-go items available every day.  Selection varies daily, but always includes sugar cookies and cupcakes. Shop early to get the best selection!

Will my cookies look just like the picture?

Each of our items is hand-decorated, and every decorator is an artist with their own style and skills. While all of our photos are of real River City Sweet Shop products, decorators change over time, and so decorated items can never look exactly the same as they did in the past. While we can absolutely assure you that you are getting a quality product with the same great taste since 2009, we CAN NOT guarantee that your cookie will look just like a photo.

Do you offer sugar-free / gluten-free / keto / allergy-free / vegan items?

We don't get enough requests to keep them as grab-and-go items, but we can usually fulfill special dietary requests by special order.

Please keep in mind that some items may not be viable with alternative ingredients.

Talk to us about your needs and we'll see what we can do!

A note about food allergens: wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts, and other tree nuts are common ingredients in our baking, and all of our products are made on shared equipment.

We cannot guarantee any item in our shop to be completely allergy free.
